Nov 22? Fall Meeting
Happy Summer,
Summer is coming to end and we still have many events that can be
attended. After Colorado, several members attended the August monthly
meeting/gathering at the 400 Club. It was fun to see new members. We had
a delicious meal there and lots of good conversation. August 16th was the
picnic at Murphys cabin and afterwards some of us traveled to Sauk Centre
for car races.
Thank-you Deb and Rick for being great hosts. Thank-you
too Fred and Deb who helped cook the steaks and chicken. Deb also got a
neighbor lady to help with dessert and other things. Robin also brought a
wonderful dessert. It was an ideal day with a breeze and no bugs or rain.
The next event was a Road Rally hosted by Jane and Duane. It was a fun and
different event. You will see pictures of the winners in the newsletter. Cabin
Fever in Little Falls was a great place to eat. Again, we had wonderful
weather.
Coming up is the Monthly meeting/Gathering on Sept 12 in Ostego. Further
information will be coming via email. On September 14 is the Progressive
Dinner. Refer to the newsletter for directions, etc- We will be going to three
different places.
Next will be the Fall Run, hosted by Lynn and Carolyn and Ed. Make sure
you have reservations since those motels could fill quickly. Fall Runs are
always a great time to see beautiful country and drive those vettes around.
Remember winter will be here before you know it.
Reminder: We will be having a fall meeting in November but not
sure about the place or date. Please watch your emails. If anyone
knows of a good place for a meeting that is centrally located let
me know. We have checked into Chicos by Becker but have not
made any decisions yet. We are reviewing the constitution and
will have the changes available for voting on at the Fall Meeting.
Happy Trails for this month. Ron
