CMCA FALL COLO® RUN ‘07
It’s that time of year again to get the information out about this year’s annual Fall Color Run. So, here are the
details:
When:
September 21st to the 23rd.
Where:
Houghton, MI.
Why:

Antennary:
Friday the 21st:
Leave:
Carlton, MN at 10:00 am.
Arrive:
Houghton, MI at 3:00 pm.
Dinner:
I don’t know.
Saturday the 22nd:
Leave:
Houghton at 9:30 am.
Arrive:
Copper Harbor at 10:30 am.
Lunch:
(I do know this) Harbor House at 12:00 pm.
Leave:
Copper Harbor for Houghton when we feel
like it
Dinner:
I don’t know.
Sunday the 23rd:

The trip will start at the Black Bear Casino in Carlton, MN (35W & 210.) If you’d like to spend the night at Black
Bear, call (1.888.771.0777) the casino directly and make a reservation (I do not have rooms blocked off.) Assuming
Erik doesn’t slow us down; the trip from Carlton to Houghton should take about six hours (including a one hour
stop for lunch (where, I don’t know.) Consequently, we should arrive in Houghton around 3:00 pm.
I have 15 rooms reserved at the Country Inn & Suites in Houghton. They are holding the rooms till September 1st.
The nightly rate is $85.00 (the slandered rate is $99.00/night.) To reserve a room, call the Country Inn at
906.487.6700 and mention that you are part of the CMCA group. You will then guarantee a room through your
charge card.
I am purposely leaving the schedule open because I am tired of typing this and would rather be driving my Cor-
vette. People are, of course, free to do whatever they feel like doing.
