Corvette for the Cure
Hello to Everyone,
First, I want to thank everyone for attending the spring meeting. It was a
great success!! A club is only as good as its members and I say we have a great club
of members. Thank you all of you! I also would like thank all of you who volun-
teered to host a monthly run. We need members to step up and to volunteer.
Once you have done a mystery cruise you will find that it is NOT hard and can be
fun to research a cruise and find a restaurant. The year is going be fun from the
small events to any of the big runs. All I can say is I cant wait!!
Im getting anxious to push the button. (That is how my C6 starts) Hope-
fully its done snowing. I think were supposed to get snow this weekend up north.
Hope it can stay there.
Some of the things we got done at the spring meeting were that we all
agreed to add more cash to our club events and to let sponsors put ads in the
monthly newsletter. The executive board will be working on the constitution for
some changes to present at the fall meeting. I would like to thank all the hard-
working officers and committee members. I cant do it alone. If you havent
looked at the web site lately, Jeff put a calendar of events on there. It is awesome!
It should keep you up to date on all events coming up. Thanks Jeff!
In the newsletter, you will find many events to come to. We start out with
our first monthly meeting at the Triple R in Kimball. This newsletter will probably
come out after that meeting, but you can always come to the next monthly meeting.
So far, there are seven cars coming. We will cruise a little and then have dinner
together. On May 17th, Sat. Tom and Sue Thoele will host a mystery lunch cruise.
In the newsletter are all the details of where to meet and when to RSVP. I cant
stress enough that those hosts need an RSVP!! Tom has a good cruise and the
Brainerd Lakes Area is ideal. He and Sue also plan to have dessert at their house.
Next is the Hutchinson Corvettes for the Cure event May 30-31st. I know
that Cris and Jeff plan to attend. Contact them if you want to be included.
May 29th is the Country Chev mystery dinner cruise. This one is great.
We meet in Annandale and Country Chev knows how to put on a party. There are
always door prizes, good food, and of course great visiting with fellow club mem-
bers. Start time is 5:30 in Annandale. Next will be another monthly meeting on
