Happy Summer, (But the weather could be warmer)
I am writing this on the day of our Mystery Dinner hosted by Country Chev.
Right now it is raining a little so hope that clears up.  This event is usually well at-
tended and Country Chev does a wonderful job.  Yes the night was very good, and
the rain held off ‘til we got to the restaurant.  Thanks, Country Chevrolet!!
Thanks so much to Tom and Sue Thoele for hosting the last mystery lunch.
The food was good and the place on Lake Alexander was very accommodating.
We left there with full stomachs, but not so full that we couldn’t enjoy dessert(s) at
Sue and Tom’s.  Sue you did an excellent job again and Ed enjoyed that fruit pie.
Mary is still waiting for the cream cheese cake recipe??
Cris and Jeff are planning to go to the Hutchinson, “Corvettes for a Cure
Event”.   There will be a monthly meeting on June 6.  Mary and I will not be able to
make that meeting, but Duane and Jane will carry on!!  Please send an email to
Mary so that we have a count for the restaurant.  She would like your response by
June 4.  Thanks.
How does everyone like the calendar?  It is very helpful, I think.  Jeff will be
signing up individuals so that if you want to unsubscribe you can.  It may cost the
club extra money, but I think it is money well-spent!
June 08 has other events and they promise to be lots of fun.  Please come
and enjoy.  It gives you a chance to drive that wonderful car.  Right??  Mary may
have to go the Monsos’ Mystery Dinner with a friend, I will be out of town.  But she
needs practice on the straight stick anyway.  Then there is the Cruise and lunch to
Paradise Landing.  For you that have NOT been there it is such a nice place and
the scenery is great.  (Also don’t forget the 18th of June and 4th of July parades!!
We need hosts for the Foley parade June 18th)
Our “Vettes on the Rockies” Trip is coming together.  We have scheduled a
train ride through the Royal Gouge.  Make sure you have your reservations for that.
And also make sure you have motel reservations.  Duane sent out an itinerary with
that information on it.
“Happy Trails” for this month.  Ron
