Happy New Year to Everyone!  I hope that your Christmas and
New Year’s Day were enjoyable with family and friends!
This is my first newsletter as president.  Mary has been “bugging” me to get my letter
ready.  (Think she’ll be doing that every month)  I am sure most of you don’t want to hear
about my Fall hunting experiences, but I didn’t see much or get ANYTHING!! The weather in
Colorado was very nice, course that kept the elk in the mountains.
Last week I walked past the corvette and checked the battery to make sure there was
juice in the battery.  The battery was charged up.  I also had to lift the cover up to see how it
looked.
We sure have had a snowy December kind of like the Decembers of old!  With the snow
that means I am working more and enjoying it less.  Retirement can’t come fast enough!
The Winter Holiday Party is coming up on January 19th.  I am sure that Monsos’ will
do a fine job and we look forward to seeing everyone and enjoying a wonderful meal.  The
newsletter will have all the details of the party so be sure and look for that.
If anyone has ideas for next year’s events, please email or call me.  Maybe you’ve
heard about another club and some of the things that they do during the year.  Any new ideas
of things would be fun to try.
This is our first time sending out the newsletter via email.  If you don’t have email you
will get the newsletter in the mail.  Am hoping that this works out for everyone since it will save
time and money.  Please let me know what you think and I will accept good and bad com-
ments.
Please thank Jeff for updating the web site.  The web site is important to gain new
members and just let all of us know what’s going on.  Many of you take pictures so please
send any that you think are great to Jeff.
Dues for 2008  can be paid now.  It is only $25.00 per couple.
Well I am hoping that the next newsletter will be a little longer.  See you all soon.
Your president,
Ron
